About Corrugated Display Boxes

A display box has to do something no other corrugated packaging does: stand up on its own, hold product at a comfortable height, and still look like part of the brand after a week on a shop floor.

The structural challenge is stability against flat shipping. The unit has to fold flat for delivery and lock rigid when assembled, without needing tools or instructions that retail staff will not read.

Counter units sit beside a till and hold small, impulse-purchase items. Floor units stand alone and carry more stock. Both are printed across the full visible surface, since a display unit is advertising as much as packaging.

How difficult are display units to assemble in store?

They should take a minute with no tools. If the unit will be built by store staff rather than a merchandising team, tell us and we will keep the locking mechanism as simple as possible.

How much product will a display hold?

That is one of the first things to decide, because it drives the structure and the board. Tell us the product dimensions and the facing count you want, and we will design around it.

Can the display include a printed header?

Yes. The header is usually the tallest printed element and does most of the work at distance, so it is worth keeping the message on it short.

Will it stay stable when full?

We test stability on a loaded sample rather than an empty one. A unit that stands fine empty can lean when filled, so the check has to be done with representative weight.
