The construction
A paper bag is the most portable advertising a retail business owns. It leaves the shop, travels through a mall and is often reused, which is why the specification matters more than the low unit cost suggests.
Three decisions define a bag: the paper, the handle and the finish. Laminated art paper with a rope handle reads as luxury retail. Kraft with a twisted paper handle reads as natural and costs less. The handle is also the failure point — a bag that tears at the handle when loaded undoes everything the print was meant to achieve, so reinforcement is specified according to what the bag will actually carry.

Manufacturing
Made at our Ajman facility
Bags are printed flat, laminated where the specification calls for it, then cut, creased, glued and handled. The turnover at the mouth of the bag and the base reinforcement are both specified against the intended load rather than applied uniformly.
Handles are fitted in house, which means handle type, colour and attachment can be changed per order without going back out to another supplier.

Frequently asked questions
What is the strongest paper bag construction?
Load capacity comes from three things working together: the gsm of the paper, the reinforcement at the mouth of the bag, and how the handle is attached. A rope handle knotted through a reinforced turnover carries considerably more than a twisted paper handle glued to a plain edge. Tell us what the bag will carry and we will specify it accordingly.
Can paper bags be laminated?
Yes. Matte, gloss and soft-touch lamination are all available. Lamination also adds scuff and moisture resistance, which is worth having on any bag likely to be carried outdoors or reused.
What handle options are available?
Twisted paper handles, flat paper handles, cotton and polyester rope, and ribbon. Rope and ribbon can be colour matched to the artwork. The right choice usually follows the weight being carried and the price point of the product going inside.
Are kraft paper bags recyclable?
Unlaminated kraft paper bags with paper handles are widely recyclable. Adding a plastic-film lamination or a synthetic rope handle changes that. If recyclability is a priority for your brand, tell us and we will specify the bag to keep it a single-material product as far as possible.
