About Burger Boxes
A burger box has about twenty minutes to do its job, and two things can go wrong in that time. The burger slides and arrives on its side, or steam condenses and the bun goes soft.
Both are fixable at specification. Sizing the box to the actual build stops movement. Ventilation lets steam escape while the box sits in an insulated delivery bag. Neither costs much, and both are far more important to the customer experience than the print.
We produce burger boxes as clamshell and tuck constructions, printed and die cut in Ajman, with the vents and locking tabs set on the dieline.

Send us the height of your tallest build. Burger boxes fail most often because the box was sized for a standard burger and the signature item does not fit.
Materials for direct food contact are specified per project — tell us whether the food touches the board directly so the correct board and coating are quoted from the start.

Produced at our Ajman facility
Printed, coated, die cut and creased at our Ajman facility. Vents and locking tabs are cut with the rest of the dieline, so they are confirmed before the cutting die is made.
A physical sample is supplied so the fit can be checked against your actual product before the run.

Frequently asked questions
Why do burger boxes need vents?
Because steam from a hot burger condenses inside a closed box and the bun absorbs it. Small die cut vents let that steam escape while the box sits in a delivery bag, which is the difference between a crisp bun and a soggy one.
What size should the box be?
Sized to your tallest build, including any topping that adds height. Send us the dimensions of the actual burger rather than a nominal figure — this is where most burger box specifications go wrong.
Is the board food safe?
Board and coating for direct food contact are specified per project rather than assumed. Tell us whether the food touches the board and we will confirm the correct material and any documentation available for it before you order.
Can the box be printed in full colour?
Yes. For hot and greasy products the coating matters as much as the ink, since it determines how the printed surface holds up during delivery.
